But I don’t know enough people EXCUSE

How to end the “I don’t know anyone” trend….I mean excuse.

Chances are if you are or have ever been in Direct Sales, you’ve either uttered these words or heard them spoken by someone else. I couldn’t begin to tell you how many times I’ve heard these words spoken by those that have joined a company with high hopes and then realize you have to work the business to make it work. No matter how you try to spin it, this is just another excuse. And now is the time to end the excuses and take accountability.

I am living proof that you don’t have to have an extensive group of friends and family in order to have success in Direct Sales. When I see “Memory Jogger” lists that say to write down people like your Hair Dresser, Manicurist, Landscaper, Bank Teller, etc; my retort has always been:

“Well let’s see, I cut my families hair myself, I paint my own nails, I cut my own lawn and I use online banking”

First I do believe that it’s true that we know, directly or indirectly, more people than we think, which is why I do think we should all take the time to write down the names of those people. But at the same time, IT DOESN’T MATTER!

I’ve build a successful business with my primary company, with hundreds of customers and team members, based on people I never met or spoken to! Building a successful team and customer base from “Cold Market” leads is possible. So, the excuse of “But I don’t know anyone” or “I don’t know enough people” is no longer a valid excuse.

How Have I Done What I’ve Done?

How did I do it? How do I continue to do it? Watch the video below to find out, and then leave a comment below and tell me if you got anything out of the video!
